Terra cotta was found in the earth surrounding pottery villages of Portugal, the various houses having their specific terrain. Early forms were based upon function, the forms all beautiful and the workmanship worthy of much pride. Come artists to the region in the mid 20th C. decorative glazing was introduces, as well as the concept of tableware. For 30 years we have witnessed traditions maintained along with the advancement of designs, the pride unending in the production of high quality pieces. We continue to work with the same two families as they have evolved over generations.
