June 8 - A day of Yoga and Sound Meditation with Inga Rouches and Kelley Rush
A full day spent rejuvenating. Begin the day with a 75 min. yoga session in the Barn's loft. Following, brunch will be served, featuring Skagit Valley's produce of all varieties, to be enjoyed in the garden. After brunch, a combination of restorative yoga and sound meditation will take place in the loft, another 75 min. session. $125 person, limited to 20. June 14 - July 13: Art Exhibit, the Paintings of Skagit Artist John Robbins
July - Luncheons with regional chefs featuring Skagit Valley Produce, details to follow
August 9 - September 6: Art Exhibit, an installation of botanically themed textiles by Seattle artist Sarah Jones "The contemplative spaces of the installation invites reflection of our reverence for the botanical world as well as for its exploitation."
August 9,10 - Bitters Co. OPEN House
September 20 - Japanese Influence Light and Sound:Woven Light, lighting fixtures of Yuri Kinoshita (through October 5) "A light is not always on, but even in the darkness you should be able to see the beauty it comes from." Shakuhachi performance by Skagit Valley resident Hanz Araki (evening) "There are few sounds more quintessentially Japanese than the shakuhachi, an end-blown bamboo flute."
